Carniny Youth 2–1 Ards Rangers

Dub Lane –

Ards started the brighter of the two sides, but resilient defending from Ollie and Jay kept things level in the early stages.
Eight minutes in, Carniny were awarded a free kick. Kai struck it superbly, forcing a strong save from the keeper, but Jay reacted quickest to tap home and put the lads 1–0 up.
Ards responded well and equalised shortly after with some tidy play down the right, sending the sides in level at the break.

HT: 1–1

Carniny came out firing in the second half, pressing high and not allowing Ards to settle. A brilliant strike from Jay restored the lead and secured his second of the game.

Ards pushed hard as the match wore on, but Fletcher produced several outstanding saves to keep them out. The Reds were unlucky not to add a third, with excellent midfield play from Issac, Finn, and Jacob driving the team forward.

Late efforts from Harvey and Oisin came close, but the lads held firm to secure a well‑earned win and a valuable three points.
