The boys started brightly and took an early lead thanks to excellent link‑up play between Charley and Corey, who combined to set up Aaron. He made no mistake, smashing his finish past the keeper to put Carniny in front. Their momentum continued, and Carniny doubled the advantage with a moment of real quality. Daniel stepped onto a loose ball and unleashed a superb long‑range strike that flew into the top corner.
Despite creating further chances, Carniny allowed Carryduff back into the contest. The visitors struck twice — one just before the interval and another shortly after the restart — to level the game at 2–2.

Carniny showed great character to respond. The ever‑dangerous Charley reacted quickest inside the box, tapping home after strong work from Aaron down the right to restore the lead with what proved to be the winning goal. Carryduff pushed hard for an equaliser in the closing stages, but the Carniny back five stood firm, defending with real determination to secure a deserved three points.

It was an excellent all‑round team performance, with standout displays from Charley, Daniel and Aaron.
