Carniny Youth Girls U16 0-0 Mid Ulster

A goalless draw, but plenty of positives to take from the girls’ performance today.

Carniny started bright, creating chances early and looking dangerous in attack. The defensive display was excellent, with everyone in the back line working hard, staying organised and giving the attacking players the platform to play forward.

The girls dominated in large spells of the game and continued to create opportunities right to the end, nearly finding the winner from a corner in the last seconds only for a fantastic goal-line clearance from a Mid Ulster player to keep the ball out.

Lots of positives to take from the performance, particularly the defensive work, attacking intent and determination shown from start to finish.

POTM: Carrie - Calm and composed as ever, the Captain led the back line that dealt with everything that came their way.
