Carniny Youth Girls U16 4–3 St Malachy’s

After a 3-1 defeat in the opening game last weekend, Carniny were determined to put things right today.

The girls fell 1–0 behind but showed fantastic character to turn the game around and race into a 4–1 lead with plenty of excellent football on display, taking all 4 goals in outstanding fashion. St Malachy’s battled back with two goals to make it 4–3 and set up a nervy finish, but the girls held on brilliantly to secure a well-deserved victory.

A fantastic response after last week’s defeat and a great display of determination, teamwork and fighting spirit. ?❤️

Well done girls! ⚽️?
