Carniny Youth Girls U16 2-2 Woodvale

Carniny Girls returned from the break with real intent in an entertaining match against Woodvale, finishing with a 2–2 draw.

The girls started brightly and played some excellent football throughout, creating plenty of chances and putting Woodvale under sustained pressure for long periods. Carniny found themselves in front twice in the game and another day, the goals could easily have flowed closing the game out but the final finish just didn’t quite come when needed.

Both teams displayed great fighting spirit and commitment until the final whistle, making for an enjoyable and competitive game. Plenty of positives to take for Carniny to continue to build momentum.
