Rosario Swifts U14 vs Carniny U14 girls
Carniny U14 girls put on another solid display on a sunny Sunday morning with a 4-0 win over their opponents.
Chances were in abundance from the first minutes with Emma leading the line, narrowly missing the goal on a couple of occasions. As the chances were flowing, patience was put to the test until Lexie, picking the ball up from distance fired Carniny into the lead. There was plenty of great football on display from both teams when Gracie picked the ball up and made a run, beating numerous opposition players and slotting the ball past the keeper to make it 2-0.
Carniny started the slower in the second half. Goalkeeper Kacie matched everything the Rosario girls kicked her way making some excellent stops to keep the pressure off. Joni then added to calming things down when she latched onto the ball from distance with an excellent strike. 3-0. The girls didn’t stop there linking up on numerous occasions and creating more and more chances which led to Emma sending a rocket into the net after catching the ball directly from a corner.
Solid performance from back to front for the girls today ?
Player of the match award goes to Emma McIvor for a brilliant all round performance.
