A strong start in wet conditions this morning seen the U14 girls take an early lead after a composed finish from Gracie. A frustrating first half for Carniny with the opposition goalkeeper putting in a fantastic performance and then conceding against the run of play before halftime leaving things level at the break.

HT 1-1.

The girls continued to produce chance after chance in the second half but with the opponents goalkeeping performance and the post keeping them out on three occasions throughout, it looked like it just wasn’t to be Carniny’s day. The girls continued to defend well and their patience finally paid off nearing the end, Brooke giving them the lead with a great finish. The girls wining streak continues.
