Carniny Amateurs U10 1-1 Sirocco Works

An end to end game with plenty of chances and one goal a piece.

Carniny absorbed plenty of first half pressure but Jonah and Harry did well to restrict chances while Robbie saved anything coming his way. A number of longer range efforts hit the woodwork while Luke at the other end was a constant threat on the break.

Moving into the second half, the chances continued before Sirocco eventually scored a really nicely worked goal. Carniny didn’t let that discourage them and late in the game they were rewarded for their efforts. A through ball finding Mason who finished neatly past the on rushing goalkeeper.

Robbie was our player of the match this week. Some great saves and plenty of encouragement for the team despite needing his nose patched up during the game.
