⚽Carniny Amateurs U10s 1–0 Carryduff Colts

A tight, hard‑fought game on a wet Belfast evening saw the Reds edge past Carryduff in a performance full of effort, discipline, and plenty of smiles despite the weather.

First Half
With a changed line up, Carniny were grateful for several important saves from Fletcher, who kept things level during a cagey opening period.
Robbie and Noah were excellent at the back, helping protect the clean sheet while chances were limited at the other end.

Second Half Breakthrough
The kids decided to invert the wingers — a tactical masterstroke well beyond their years and great entertainment for the coaches. It paid off too. A left‑footed cross from the right by Finn McM found Finn D on the edge of the area.
A superb first touch, a composed finish… 1–0.

Holding the Lead

Dan and Judah both came close to doubling the advantage before Carniny had to withstand some late pressure. The boys dug in brilliantly to see out the win.

Despite the miserable weather, the attitude from both teams was outstanding — plenty of laughs, plenty of effort, and a well‑earned victory for the Reds.
