U17 Carniny AYFC 5–2 Berlin Swifts

Carniny U17s produced a superb battling performance to claim a well‑deserved 5–2 victory over Berlin Swifts.

Tiernan opened the scoring with a composed finish in a one‑on‑one, setting the tone for a strong Carniny display. The hosts quickly built on their bright start, with Dylan reacting sharply inside the box to score twice from close range, giving Carniny a commanding 3–0 lead at half‑time.

Berlin Swifts pulled one back early in the second half, but Carniny responded immediately. Tiernan was again alert in the area, restoring the three‑goal cushion with another close‑range finish.

He then completed his hat‑trick in spectacular fashion, curling a stunning 30‑yard free‑kick into the top corner — a strike worthy of any game.

Berlin added a late consolation, but Carniny were already well in control, securing all three points through a strong, determined team performance.

A confident, hard‑working display from the U17s, with Tiernan and Dylan leading the way in front of goal.
