After weeks of no reward for this was the U18s most complete performance of the season.
They were playing really well and created chances only to find themselves reduced to ten men in a very harsh sending off . However the resulting penalty saw justice served as it was well saved by Noah. This sparked the reds into life and gave them confidence and we took a deserved lead when Garrett burst into the box and was brought down. with Zack converting the penalty to give them the lead. They were unlucky not to double their lead when Evan turned well and drove a low shot which hit the post.
The second half saw Dromara equalize after Carniny failed to clear a corner and also saw the opponents reduced to 10 for dissent to the referee.
From that point on Carniny dominated the play, with some decent saves from the Village keeper denying further goals. Then Jack made it 2-1 with a super left footed strike and the same player put the icing on the cake when he then made it 3-1 with another long range effort
A well deserved 3-1 victory
