Carniny Amateurs U11 3-1 Newhill FC

SBYL – Friday 23rd

Carniny controlled the game from the start, with plenty of possession but not troubling the Newhill keeper until Adam picked up the ball in midfield, ran into space and hit a left foot shot into the bottom corner to make it 1-0. Cooper continued to cause problems for the Newhill defence with his hold up play and speed and was unlucky not to score himself.

The second half began in much the same way, Carniny on top. Good chances fell to Olly S, Ollie R and Copper, who were all unlucky not to find the net. Adam picked up a through pass from Carter to finish well to make it 2-0 and Carter scored to make it 3-0 with a top corner finish. Newhill scored a consolidation goal in the last minute. Well done to the lads for an excellent performance.
