Carniny Amateurs 2–2 Magherafelt Sky Blues
Friendly – Crumlin, Friday Night
The Reds started brightly, forcing the game into the opposition half. Adam opened the scoring with superb footwork and a thunderous strike off the crossbar. Magherafelt responded quickly, capitalising on a lapse in concentration to level the match.
The game became a midfield battle, with both keepers pulling off excellent saves and forwards struggling to stay onside. Carniny regained the lead through Ollie S, who fired a pinpoint shot across the keeper into the corner.
Despite battling with just nine players, the Reds ran tirelessly for each other. Magherafelt struck late from distance to make it 2–2, but Carniny’s effort and spirit earned plenty of praise.
