Carniny made a fast start, pressing high in the opening minutes. Jake Armstrong won the ball and, after the rebound broke kindly, Brandon Turner slipped a pass into Adrian Dubyna. With his route to goal blocked, Dubyna laid it back to Armstrong, who rifled a low strike inside the near post to put Carniny 1–0 up after five minutes.

The Reds doubled their lead on 14 minutes. Mark Lowry threaded a superb through ball into Aaron Johnston, who calmly rounded the keeper and walked the ball into the net for 2–0.

The Eagles pulled one back five minutes later. Carniny failed to fully clear a corner, and when the ball was whipped back into the box, their tall striker rose highest to nod home.
2–1.

Carniny restored their two‑goal cushion soon after. Johnston released Brandon Turner, who burst into the box and placed a composed finish around the keeper for 3–1.

Turner then struck again before the break. Johnston tested the keeper with a driven effort, and when the ball was parried out, Turner reacted quickest to tuck away the rebound.
4–1 at half‑time.

Carniny continued to dominate after the restart, with both Turner and Dubyna hitting the woodwork. It took until the hour mark for the next breakthrough: Phil Martin slid a pass down the right for Adam Mooney, who crossed perfectly for Harley Farenden to tap in from close range.
5–1.

A defensive mistake gifted the visitors a penalty, which was confidently converted to make it 5–2, but Carniny finished strongly.

Four minutes from time, Peter McComb worked his way into the box and laid the ball off for Farenden, who swept home his second of the afternoon to seal a convincing 6–2 victory for the Reds.
