Carniny claimed another league win with a well‑earned 3–1 victory over Carnlough, helped by a goal on his return from Harley Farenden. Six minutes in, Matthew McComb threaded a perfect pass through for Harley, who raced clear and calmly rolled the ball past the advancing keeper to open the scoring.
Carnlough levelled from the spot after a foul inside the box, but Carniny restored their lead just before the break when Adam Mooney lifted a clever ball into the area for McComb to finish from close range.
Late in the second half, Mooney added a deserved third — firing high into the roof of the net after Aaron Johnston slipped a precise pass into his path. Carniny managed the game well from there, seeing out the final stages to secure another valuable three points.
