Carniny Amateurs 4–0 St Malachy’s Old Boys Youth
Sunday Morning – Season Opener

Carniny Amateurs kicked off their season in perfect fashion with a convincing 4–0 win over St Malachy’s Old Boys Youth. The boys started brightly, immediately taking control of the game and playing with confidence.

The early pressure paid off inside the first 15 minutes. Corey intercepted a loose clearance and, spotting the goalkeeper off balance, struck a superb effort from outside the box to give Carniny a deserved lead.

Despite dominating possession, Carniny still had to stay alert as St Malachy’s threatened on the break. The back line stood firm, producing several crucial last‑ditch challenges to protect the advantage.

The second half saw Carniny take full command. Excellent work down the right from Blake created the opening for Kaelin, who reacted sharply inside the six‑yard box to double the lead. Moments later came the goal of the game — Tyler unleashing an unstoppable 25‑yard strike into the top corner.

Captain Aaron rounded off the scoring with a composed finish after more strong wing play from Blake, sealing a dominant performance from the Amateurs.

No individual awards were given today — the entire squad delivered a hardworking, impressive display from start to finish.
