Carniny started well with Kundys going close after a minute of time. Holba then put his header over the bar. Aidan Scullion then hit the bar with his half volley and it looked like it was going to be one of those days. Lee Lynn finally broke the deadlock after he latched on to an Adam Mooney cross and smashed it into the net to make it 1-0. This quickly followed with a great finish by Jadym Scullion to make it 2-0. Aidan Scullion effectively killed the game after a great through ball by Groocock to make it 3-0. Coleraine did look dangerous on the break so the defence of Robinson, Connolly , Groocock and Butler couldn't let their guard down. Padraig McGilligan always looked confident in goals. It finished 3-0 at half time.
In the second half Hunter, Rainey, Dunlop, B Gray and Young came on. A Scullion hit the bar on another 2 occasions . White then had his effort pushed onto the bar. Lynn was always causing Coleraine problems and it was his cross that set up Bobby Rainey for a simple tap in to make it 4-0 Carniny . It was Scott Hunter that made it 5-0 when he scored in off the bar with a flying volley from a great Scullion cross to finish the game.
Carniny have only one game left but before that they look forward to a Barcelona trip where they are drawn against teams from France, Germany, and Belgium in their group.
