Carniny and Bangor played out an even first half, with both sides creating good chances. The breakthrough arrived five minutes before the interval when Conor delivered a superb floated corner and Ross rose highest to head home his second goal of the season.

Bangor started the second half strongly and turned the game on its head with two quick‑fire goals to take the lead. Their third came from a fantastic strike from distance that flew into the top corner.

Carniny rallied in the final stages, with Ross thundering a shot off the crossbar and Adam striking the post, but the Reds couldn’t find a way back as their four‑game unbeaten run came to an end.
