Carniny U14 Girls produced an excellent performance at Houston Park, coming away with a superb 4–0 victory over Ballyclare Comrades Girls B in their latest league fixture.

The first half was tight and competitive, with both sides working hard and Carniny having to remain patient. Despite creating good opportunities and putting together some promising passages of play, the breakthrough didn’t arrive before the interval.

Half-time: 0–0

The second half, however, saw Carniny shift gears completely. Their intent was clear from the restart, and they finally got the reward their pressure deserved in the 32nd minute when Ella opened the scoring.

Just six minutes later, Isla O doubled Carniny’s advantage with her first of the afternoon, giving the girls a strong platform to build on. Confidence was flowing now, and Chloe added a third in the 45th minute to put Carniny firmly in control.

There was still time for one more, and Isla O completed her brace just a minute later, making it 4–0 and sealing a dominant second‑half display.

Carniny showed real patience, determination and teamwork — sticking to their game plan after a goalless first half and being rewarded with four excellent goals. A clean sheet and a commanding performance made this a hugely positive result for the girls.

? Well done to every player — a brilliant team effort.
