Wee reds wrap up leauge campaign with a nervy 1-1 draw.

The 2016s were back in SBYL action for the final time this season in a game which could have clinched the league title. With plenty on the line the lads stated the game well but it was Moyola who enjoyed the majority of chances and possession in the first 10 minutes. Solid defending from Robbie and Jay kept Moyola at bay. The wee reds started to find there way into the game with Ollie, Jacob and Oisín starting to feed the ball to Finn who came close on a few occasions. Five minutes before the half a delicious chip from Harvey saw the reds take the lead. Half time 1-0.

Moyola came out strong in the second half but were denied through absolute top class goalkeeping from Fletcher who was tipping balls over the bar and around the post. The best of the saves came 10 minutes into the second half when Fletcher saved a shot from a few yards out to keep the lads ahead. Six minutes from time Moyola finally got the equaliser when a well drilled shot found its way through defenders and into the bottom corner. The wee reds tried to find a winner with Kai leading the front line but Moyola stood strong. A great game, well done to all involved.
