Carniny U9 4-2 Clonduff

SBYL – Blythfield – Saturday 2nd

The young reds go into the Christmas break top of their table and undefeated after an excellent 4-2 win over Clonduff on a chilly Saturday morning. A quick opening goal from Conor got the boys on their way and the confidence grew throughout the first half with some good passing and movement. In the 2nd half the boys continued to work hard and play some good football with Noah making it 2-0 will an excellent finish. Theo then got this first goal of the season to make it 3 with a tap in after a god save from the Clonduff keeper. Clonduff pulled one back, but Noah made it 4 with a good finish, after a smart turn and shot. Clomnduff scored again on the stoke of full time. An excellent performance from the team, the best of the season so far. The midfield of Adam, Theo, Harris, and Jack work tirelessly and linked with the strikers, Conor and Noah. Parker and David were outstanding at the back with Keeper Kai pulling off some good saves.
