Carniny AYFC U17 v Albion Star
Carniny started off poorly with a few players clearly well off the pace. Poor defending from a corner and Albion opened the scoring early. Carniny lacked composure but did carve out several chances but were unable to finish. They seemed unable to deal with Albion free kicks and found ourselves 3-0 down at halftime.
The second half was all Carniny and some great passing and movement saw Kyal Rainey pull a goal back. 3-1. But again we gave away a poor free kick and conceded 4-1. and this was quickly followed by Zac McNeill making it 4-2, however we were starting to play good football and created more chances, Good movement and a cross from the right was fired home by Matthew Turtle to make it 4-3. The last 15 mins saw Carniny dominate but unfortunately couldn’t get the equaliser.
