It was Ladies weekend at the club with all three girls’ teams at under 12,13 and 14 winning against Aquinas, Ballyclare Comrades and Crusaders respectively. The men's 'senior' side came back against Willowfield Parish in the Junior Shield to win 5-3 but the 18s,14s and 16s all lost. In the younger age groups at 9s, 10s and 11s they all had wins with draws for the 13s, 12s and 11s youth. The clubs Football Development Centre for under 7s, 6s and 5s held at Carnhill Playing Fields on Saturday mornings continued for the youngest age group whilst the 8s and 9s carry on with the IFA programmes on Friday nights at the Showgrounds and Ballymena North Centre. All the club teams are back training at various locations around the Ballymena area.

The Carniny clubs Football Development Centre has got under way for the under 5, under 6 and under 7 kids playing on Saturday mornings with a selection playing on Friday night in a 3 a side format. The club welcome new coaches to help with the development of this young age group.

SSGS- Ballymena Showgrounds – Friday 20th

Some of our 2015s and 2016s returned to Small Sided Games on Friday, with four teams taking part in the MEA Game Development Centre at Ballymena Showgrounds. A great night’s football under the lights with competitive games and plenty of goals for all teams. Thanks to the IFA for putting on a great set up for local games as ever.
