The heavy rain during the week meant some games were postponed over the weekend with the Harry Gregg SSGs centre in Coleraine cancelled and two South Belfast Youth league games, the U13s and 16s were also cancelled along with the Senior Development team’s game on Saturday afternoon.

The Under 14s continued their good form winning their eight consecutive game with a 3-1 win over Immaculata with a Luis White hat trick. The Under 15s kept their league title hopes on track with a comfortable 6-1 win over St Oliver Plunkett’s. The U11s played out a 3-3 draw in their SBYL game against St Mary’s whilst the U12s lost out to Antrim Rovers also in the SBYL.

Teams from the Under 7s 8s, 9s and 10s enjoyed local action over Friday night and Saturday morning at the Mid and East Antrim IFA SSGs centre at the Showgrounds.

FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT CENTRE

Due to the inclement weather at the weekend the centre moved indoors to the super facilities at Wellington Church. All at the club wish to thank the church 'elders' for use of their facilities. Hopefully the centre will resume this Saturday at its usual venue at St Louis Grammar School providing there is an improvement in the weather.

2013s - UNDER 7s FIXTURE

The newly formed Carniny Under seven team for children born in the year 2013 were guests last Thursday of Northend United FC at the indoor facilities at St Patrick’s College. The Carniny 'Reds' thank Northend for the invite and hope to reciprocate the invite in the near future.
