There was a full programme of games for the club last weekend with two Under 9 -2010 teams taking part in the Ballymena IFA SSGs at the Showgrounds on Friday night against BUFC and Northend Youth teams, with an Under 11 team in action at the East Antrim GDC at the Valley Leisure Centre on Friday night against Chimney Corner as well.

On the Saturday the Under 10 Amateurs team were in action at the Showgrounds in the morning while their Youth counterparts were up in Coleraine in the HGFYL putting in a fine performance against a Coleraine team with every player getting on the scoresheet at least once! The Under 9 Youths were also in action in the HGFYL against Portstewart.

In the SBYL the Under 11s enjoyed a winning start in their first game in the league against Barn Utd with the only other team in SSG action, the U12s playing out a scoreless draw with Rosario. There was little joy for the 11 aside teams with the U13s having another 0-0 stalemate with Antrim Rovers and the 14s, 15s and 16s all suffering defeats.

The Under 10s had a busy day taking in a 5 a side tournament hosted by Coaching4Christ with harry Barr being awarded Player of the Tournament on the day by the hosts.
The Senior team enjoyed a pleasing with in the Saturday Morning League with a 2-0 win over Southside Rangers whilst the development team lost out to Ballyclare North End in the afternoon

Carniny Amateurs v Several Sides
An excellent tournament run by Coaching4Christ. The boys had a great afternoon, thanks for the invite. On the footballing side the boys played really well winning 7 of their 8 matches. Tom Sittlington made a few great saves and only conceded 2 goals in the 6 matches he was in for. Also great improvement in his passing out. Jonah Porter and Ryan Bruce were excellent at the back. Jack Irvine and Kristian McCaughey both got amongst the goals as did Harry Barr. Special mention to Charlie Ewart who never stops working when he is on the pitch.
MOTM: Harry Barr. Can really strike a ball with his right foot. Got a goal in nearly every match and was named player of the tournament.
Team: Sittlington, Porter, Bruce, McCaughey, Barr, Ewart, Irvine.
