The Under 9s and 10s welcome the return of the IFA Small Sided Games centre at the Showgrounds with the two U9 teams up against Magherafelt Sky Blues and Larne Ladies on Friday night and the U10s up against Antrim Soccer Academy on Saturday. The U11s Colts were also in action on Friday night at the East Antrim Games Development Centre at Valley Leisure Centre taking on Crusaders Strikers.

In the 11 a side games in the South Belfast Youth League the Under 13s notched up a 5-3 win over St Mary’s in their first competitive 11 a side game. The Under 14s were in fine form scoring six without reply against SOPFC whilst the U16s won their game against Greenisland with a last gasp winner in a 2-1 victory. Unfortunately the U15 lost their opening match to Shankill Utd on Friday night.

FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT CENTRE
Carniny Amateur & Youth FC’s Football Development Centre starts on the 29th September in the mornings from 11am to 12 midday at a venue yet to be confirmed. Applications to the centre are now open to all children born in 2012, 2013 and 2014. Entry forms are available from club website www.carninyyouthfc.co.uk or by contacting via Facebook page.
