Two girl’s teams from Carniny AYFC travelled to Greenisland last Sunday to brave the bitterly cold conditions playing in the IFA Mid and East Antrim Girls Friendship League against teams from Larne, Carrick, Greenisland and Ballymena All Stars.
The ‘wee’ Under 10 side did very well despite travelling with a small squad through illness. The girls won 2 of their 3 games on the day with Olivia McCormick in fine form scoring a bagful of goals throughout the day. Also on the scoresheets were McCartney Young McCauley and McCaughern
