Carniny Amateur and Youth FC successfully hosted "AHEAD OF THE GAME", the Irish FA Foundation's mental health program for football clubs this evening.

The club would like to thank Kenny Greenhill of The Irish Football Association for presenting the program and IFA Club Development officer, Kyle Robinson. We would also like to thank Ballymena Bowling Club for providing the venue.

All of our coaches and volunteers who attended the evening undoubtedly went home tonight with a greater knowledge of awareness going forward.

The program aims to support clubs and volunteers when dealing with mental health issues, challenging the stigma around mental health, promoting positive mental health and preventative measures. Ahead of the Game focuses on the idea and importance of starting the conversation around mental health in football.
