The Carniny AYFC Masters team were in action on Sunday when they travelled to Brookvale Park, home of Wellington Rec FC, for a four-team charity tournament. Carniny Over 40s, were joined by Olderfleet Swifts Legends, Welly Rec Over 40s & NI Military Vets, all entered the tournament in aid of multiple charities. The Carniny men enjoyed a good day of football at the HOW'S YOUR MIND CHARITY CUP playing two games over the course of the afternoon. The tournament will be good preparation for the O40s who are entering the TAMHI Invitational League this forthcoming season.

Coach & Player Recruitment

With just over a month until match action resumes, our youth teams have begun training this week as most return to pre‑season. Carniny AYFC may have player opportunities across all age groups from U5 to U18. Whether your child is looking for a new club or looking for a new challenge, we offer a positive, friendly and well‑structured environment with qualified coaches and clear development pathways. Please check with individual age‑group coaches for current vacancies.

Football Development Centre – Starting Soon

The Stewartie McAuley Football Development Centre for boys and girls born in 2022, 2021 and 2020 will recommence in late August (date to be confirmed) at the club’s mini‑soccer facilities at Ballymena Bowling Club. Application details will be advertised next week across press and social media — keep an eye on the club website. A waiting list link for the 2022 age group is already open on the website and Facebook page.
