Carniny U10’s 1-3 Portavogie U10’s

Game started well for our reds, putting the pressure on quickly with some great work in midfield through Harlow, Zach & Carter. Alex had some efforts cleared away, but we kept going. Gary & Connor solid in defence, driving forward when they could but the half ended at a stalemate.

2nd half we lost a bit of spark to begin with, slipping behind twice after a mix-up in the box for their second. Jake pulled out some great stops & Alex was able to pull a goal back. A long assist from Gary at the back saw Alex turn well & fire past their GK. Billy added some energy in midfield but despite our efforts it wasn’t to be & we slipped to a third near the end. The energy is in there for our boys, we will keep working hard & the results will come.
