U10 YOUTHS MATCH REPORT

Carniny U10 1-4 Doyle YC

Another tough fixture for our young reds this morning, both teams starting well, Carniny building well from the back through Gary & Isaac with Harlow pulling the strings in midfield. Alex took the first goal of the game after some hard work from Billy on the right wing. Connor came close at the back post to nearly put us 2 ahead going into half time. Second half started fast & it didn’t take long for Doyle to draw level. They followed up with a second quickly & our boys had to chase the game. Jake was super in nets & pulled off some brilliant saves to keep us tight for as long as possible. Nathaniel & Carter tried to make an impact in midfield but a debatable third goal for Doyle sealed our fate. Gary & Isaac at the back were strong & Harlow did everything he could to get the team pushing forward, however after some changes we conceded a fourth near the end of the game.

FT 1-4 a tough game, training focus will be on fitness & continuously working hard throughout the whole game, not just in stages.
