Carniny Youth U10's made it six wins in six as they ran out winners against Celtic boys at Blanchflower this morning. Good energy from the start saw the boys take an early 3 nil lead, Alex opening the scoring, latching onto a nice slide rule pass from Gary. Alex found Connor

close to goal, but his snatched effort hit the post. Gary then added a well taken goal to his assist, following a smart throw-in from Isaac. Billy's hard work paid off as he scored a lovely goal placed in the corner, Harlow assist. Celtic boys pulled one back as Carniny struggled for a period, a shot from the edge of the box not closed down. Harlow's well struck free-kick was too strong for the keeper, Alex slotted in the rebound. 4-1 HT. Second half saw some more really nice linkup play between Billy and Alex. Nathaniel battled hard on the right, the game becoming scrappy at times, Gary, Isaac, and Karter swept up at the back. Alex was put through and almost scored his hat-trick but rattled the bar. Connor forced wide left tried to dance his way toward goal but was brought down, Harlow coolly put away the penalty before Alex did get his hat-trick, driving it home a shot with his left foot. Some nice teamwork today, good graft from all 9 boys. Alex hat-trick & MOTM.
