In their second game in 3 days the Seniors found themselves in a largely frustrating game against Cullybackey Blues. In the first half Carniny had a few chances but were off target and were constantly being flagged for off side as they moved forward. Cullybackey were then awarded a soft pen and they converted to give them the lead but Carniny replied 3 mins later with Dean Wright dispossessing a defender, crossing for Peacock to draw level at ht.
The second half was a frustrating affair with free kicks being awarded every few mins. Carniny thought they had taken the lead with Sean Byrne heading across the goal for Wright to head home, however the ref disallowed the goal for Byrne being over the bye line. Cullybackey pressed towards the end but there were no further goals, 1-1 ft
